Mix-Bot

This cute little guy was invented in 1953 by the Sears Roebuck Company to keep housewives company while they baked and cleaned. It was designed to play any song that the owner requested, even Radio Soap Operas could be heard on the Mix-Bot. But it soon fell out of favour as people found it to be a bit creepy.
