Canadian Lands Seized and Sold

This painting was inspired by these tiny ads in Field and Stream magazines that were around our house when I was a kid. I always dreamed of getting a paper route and saving my pennies and buying an island. This particular ad was from the 1930. The prices obviously reflected the Depression.
